The N.E.H.L. is entering it's 13th year and was created for the player who is
looking for a challenge, something fun, and definitely different from the other leagues out there! We are now the
longest running PC hockey league on the internet!
Let's face it.... there can only be ONE champion each season..... a league has to be more than
just about winning.....
We will put your playing and G.M. abilities to the ultimate test and are home to some of the
best (and also the most sportsmanlike) players/general managers on the internet!
Your fellow General managers are seasoned veterans.

Whether you are in the middle of a playoff race, charging for a playoff spot, fighting to capture a division
title, or out of the playoff hunt altogether, you will always have tough decisions to make!
We provide all the tools.... It's up to you to take them, twist and bend them, explore all the in's and out's, with
more wheeling and dealing than you have ever done (We love to trade!) in any other league before....
until you have assembled a Stanley Cup contender.
A good general manager, who knows his stuff, can turn his team around faster in this league than any other.
How much time you can devote to the league is up to you! The N.E.H.L. computer handles your team
for you when you can't.
Already in another league? No problem, the NEHL is perfect for running a second team!
Irresponsible (or lazy) owners ruining your gaming experience are a thing of the past. We have full rules covering
picking up and playing league games in a timely manner!
We offer a full 82 game schedule (plus playoffs) with games against both computer and human
owners.
Our gameplay settings are becoming famous for creating a competitive and fun environment to play in, year after
year!
We don't tie your hands with too many "sim rules" nor do we allow cheese ball players to rain supreme. I guess you
could call us a "Hybrid" league.....
You will truly feel like you are part of a professional league.
For the General manager in you:
We have full trading between both human and/or computer teams as well as an easy to use (and follow) salary
system and free agency!
Making trade offers to the CPU General managers is almost as much fun as making trade offers to a human G.M.
The CPU G.M. isn't a pushover. He is looking for the best deals just like his human counterparts!
Even though we are a PC "keeper league" you can still have ties to your favorite team....
You automatically inherit the draft picks made by your "real life" N.H.L. counterparts. For instance, if you took Chicago,
you would have "inherited" players such as
Kane, Patrick and
Toews, Jonathan!
There are a lot of good leagues on the internet, but you won't find
one that runs any smoother or is better organized than this one.
Our league boasts a server uptime of 98% and will debut our
brand new web site in October!
